Windows 2000 Cluster

Currently working on a Windows 2000 IIS and MSSQL Cluster.
Not much to say about it, except that MSSQL has some weird problems.
IIS is working fine. Need to change Collation options of SQL without
building the cluster from scratch. Seems intimidating.
Will post updates as soon as I find something.

DAMN HEADACHE!
This SUCKS! Need pills!
University Start:

Well, it seems that I have joined the ranks of millions out there that are enlisted in the ultimate temples of wisdom that humanity has to this day. The great Universities!
Best of luck to me and to all who are starting now the same hard road to enlightenment!

Already started to read uncomprehensible algebra among other things (I hate it) and various other computer related stuff...
Computer related stuff is a bit hard to, but hey you know what they say: computers are the future! (right?) :P

I will now have to start saving money as the university fees are a bit heavy on my non existing budget. I will also have to do some research for student loans etc. that local banks offer and hope that I am not ever going to need one! But better be prepared for that option too.

Well, thats it about the university, I am going to write about any updates sooner or later :P

How to update Gentoo Linux:

- Actually is very easy with the power of emerge. You need to sync your Gentoo with an online mirror in order to check what programs have been updated. To do so you run emerge -pv -sync --deep world. What that does is that it tells Gentoo to -pretend and be -verbose that it is going to -sync its Portage database with an online mirror, --deep scan for dependencies and for extra applications that need to be updated and update the whole world, where world is your Gentoo installation.

- If you are unable to run emerge sync for any reason, you can also try emerge-webresync which is a web based sync for those behind restrictive firewalls.

- Finally do not forget that there is no reason for you to do this every day and every hour as it just wastes cpu time/bandwidth and it is also not something that agrees with Gentoo common netiquette. Be courteous :)
